Alison is such a warm, caring, and compassionate soul with a true gift for coaching!  She has helped improve my marriage, coached me through some much-needed boundary setting, and introduced me to an incredible, multi-faceted toolkit that I can draw upon when encountering a variety of ongoing personal challenges. In concert with her kind-hearted nature is a candid, thorough, and pragmatic approach that helped keep me focused and accountable every step of the way. I could not recommend her more highly!

I met Alison at a place in my life where I knew I was on the verge of moving forward, but was feeling stuck, unsure of which way to go. She gave me many tools, which I found very helpful…it’s nice to have these tools, but very important to use them as homework between sessions! There were several times where I really didn’t want to own up to the reality of my situation…sometimes the tools would bring me to a place of great discomfort. But as I continued working through these obstacles, I began to accept things as they are and settle happily into my life. Some issues I’ve worked on are self acceptance, forgiveness and fear…because I worked hard with Alison’s coaching help, my world has opened up, and I feel free of old issues.

Alison is diet for my soul!  Living with extra baggage has weighed me down, and not allowed me to fully live the life I wanted.  Alison is giving me the tools to help me be the person I want to be, and strengthening my relationship with others and myself!

I was hesitant to speak to anyone, but when someone commented on the Mother’s Club about you, I was intrigued. I was drawn towards the homework and taking action and accountability versus just talking (which I should add was also very helpful). Take-away tools to use not just in the session but in everyday life have been invaluable. Your warmth and genuine concern helped put me at ease while working with you. After our first session, I felt even more comfortable and thought “Hey, if I needed help with exercise, I’d go take a class with an expert”. You just happen to be an expert on relationships.

I am thrilled with Alison’s skillful coaching.

I am a health care executive who is working on a business plan for my second career — professional yoga therapist. This transition is a very important one for me because it is the fulfillment of a long held dream and a personal mission to help others navigate a graceful path in life.

Alison has led me through some deep work, allowing me to free my creativity and increase my confidence in making this big change. Her warmth and enthusiasm for my planning make me feel that I am her only client. Of course I know that is not true!! Alison’s skills are wonderful, as is her intuitive style, sensing what needs to come next to keep me “forward bound”! I want to work with her for years to come!!

She is amazing!

My daughter and I are being coached by Alison and have found her exceedingly talented in guiding our parent/teen relationship. She presents an objective approach and possesses an innate ability to assess our relationship. Alison skillfully provides tools that are applicable in our everyday life. Alison uses her coaching skills to delicately confront potentially debilitating patterns and introduces us to new and healthier initiatives and goals. I have found it extraordinarily helpful in my relationship with my daughter and beyond.

“I was almost in tears (of happiness) yesterday watching you help my child. You did more in one session than 3 years of therapy have done. She was very peaceful and went to sleep by herself.”

Her: “I only saw what he was doing to me. I was not able to recognize my part in an unhealthy relationship until we got coached by Alison. It was not always fun, but we both grew and learned a lot about ourselves and each other and we are both so much better, both individually and together from this experience.”

Him: “My wife’s friend told us to try coaching with Alison. I did not want to be coached at first because I thought I would be the labeled ‘bad guy’ and it would be all touchy feely and I thought it would be weird to do it on Skype. After we talked with Alison, I decided to give it a try. Alison did not judge either of us. She was gentle, but firm when we started to slip in to our old patterns and helped us to create much better communication and she seemed to know what we were both thinking a lot of the time. We slip up now and then, but then we remember that it’s not about me or her, but “us” and we continue to use Alison’s advice and “tricks” months after the coaching. I like ‘us’ much better! She had great tips for our relationship with our dog, Mika, too!”

As a coaching colleague to Alison, I have both worked alongside her and had the pleasure of receiving her superb coaching. Alison’s keen intuition allowed me to get to the heart of my issues quickly and with ease. In my experiences with her I always feel safe in being vulnerable with my sharing. Alison has always engaged with a warmth and love that is oftentimes missing from professional coaching practices. Many of us, in our intentions to cause peaceful relationships, would do well to follow in Alison’s footsteps!
